Trombone Mutes

Unlike any other straight mute our concept for this mute was determined by the desire to make one mute that would play all notes, high or low loud or quiet, all the way down to pedals and as high as you can play at all dynamics. There is a 10mm lip which makes this mute easy to handle and secure for quick changes. You will never have played a mute which responds as well over the register.

A large cup volume and a 90mm adjustable section makes this mute perfect for all your requirements, close cup or big open sound. Response and intonation are superb on all notes. Remove the cup and use the middle section as a quality straight mute.

Soulo Mute for tenor trombone is a bucket mute designed to fit trombones with a bell size from 7.375 (7 & 3/8ths) to 8 inches in diameter. The clips are adjustable and can be slightly bent to accommodate bell sizes within this range. However, many trombone players with an 8.5" bell have had success with using it, due to the amount the clips can be adjusted. While more of the bell is visible, in terms of sound, it serves as a normal bucket mute.

This new travel mute is the most in-tune of any compact in-bell mute available.
